whats more handy and easy when you can make that delicious piece of ravishing recipe called NAAN on your own at home that too without tandoor and just get that taste of a restaurent....sounds interesting right?
hello everyone once again, here i am atishruti mitra as you all know presenting one more simple yet delicious recipe for you all... try it and do let me know how it came out.........
LETS BEGIN........................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
INGRIDIENTS:
1. MAIDA( ALL PURPOSE/WHEAT FLOUR)- 3CUP
2. SUGAR- 2TBSP
3. CURD- 3TBS OR AS PER REQUIRED
4. MILK- 2 TBSP OR AS PER REQUIRED
5.SALT- PINCH OF IT
6. BVAKING POWDER- 1.5 TBSP
7. KALA JEERA(BLACK CUMIN SEEDS)- 1TBSP
METHOD:
1. TAKE CURD, SUGAR,MILK IN A BOWL AND MIX IT WELL TILL IT SMOOTHENS OUT.
2.THEN IN ANOTHER BOWL ADD SALT, BAKING POWDER AND KALA JEERA IN MAIDA AND MIX IT WELL.
3. PUT THE PREVIOUSLY MADE CURD MIXTURE IN TO THE MAIDA MIXTURE AND MIX IT REALLY VERY WELL AND IF NEEDED YOU CAN ADD WATER AND MAKE A DOUGH.
4.FOR TIME BEING KEEP IT ASIDE FOR 10 MINUTES, THEN KNEED IT AGAIN NICELY AND GIVE IT A STANDING TIME OF 2 HOURS SO THAT IT CAN FERMENT WELL.COVER IT WITH A MUSLIN CLOTH OR ANY COVER.
5. AFTER 2 HOURS UNCOVER THE DOUGH AND TAKE 3 TBSP OF OIL AND ADD IT TO THE DOUGH AND AGAIN KNEED IT REALLY WELL.
6. MEANWHILE PUT YOUR TAWA ON YOUR GAS STOVE AN LET IT HEAT PROPERLY. WHEN YOUR TAWA IS HEATED MAKE SMALL BALLS OUT OF THE DOUGH AND MAKE SMALL CHAPATI OF IT. THE CHAPATI SHOULD BE LITTLE BIT THICK.
7. NOW COOK THOSE SMALL CHAPATIS ON TAWA AND WHEN BOTH SIDES ARE COOKED PROPERLY PUT IT DIRECTLY ON FIRE OF YOUR GAS STOVE AND COOK IT FINALLY. IT WILL GET A CRISPY TEXTURE...
8. WHILE SERVING PUT BUTTER ON IT .
AND YOUR NAAN IS PREPARED..SERVE IT WITH CHICKEN DISHES...
