PUNEER BUTTER MASALA

PUNEER BUTTER MASALA IS SOMETHING WHICH ONE CAN MAKE EASILY PROVIDED U HAVE BASIC INGRIDIENTS AT HOME.....

THIS RECIPE DONOT TAKE MUCH TIME...

ENRICHED WITH DRY FRUITS AND LOADS OF BUTTER,LETS GET STARTED WITH THE RECIPE.

INGRIDIENTS:

1. PUNEER(COTTAGE CHEESE)- 200GMS

2. CASHEW(KAJU), RAISINS(KISMIS),ALMONDS(BADAM)- SOAKED(HALF CUP)

3. RED CHILLI POWDER- 1 TBSPN

4. GINGER GARLIC PASTE-2 TBSPN

5. ONION PASTE- 2 ONIONS CUT AND PASTED

6.BUTTER- 1 BIG CHUNK.

7. GREEN CHILLI- 2

8. KASOORI METHI- 2 TBSPN.

9. GARAM MASALA- AS PER REQUIEREMENT

10. BAY LEAVES(TEJ PATTA)-2

11. SALT- AS PER TASTE

12.GARAM MASALA- 1/2 TSPN

13. TOMATO PASTE- 1 TOMATO

14. TURMERIC POWDER- 1 TBSPN.

METHOD:

1. CUT PUNEER INTO CUBES. BOIL WATER WITH SOME SALT AND DIP THOSE PUNEER PIECES INTO IT FOR 10-15MIN.

2.SOAK KAJU,KISMIS,AND ALMONDS OVERNIGHT AND GRIND INTO FINE PASTE....

3. CHOP ONIONS AND GRIND IT INTO SMOOTH PASTE.

4. NOW ADD BIG CHUNK OF BUTTER INTO PAN,LET IT MELT. SPREAD THE BUTTER IN THE ENTIRE PAN. YES IT NEED LOADS OF BUTTER AS THE NAME SUGGETS....!!!

5. ADD GARAM MASALA, SLITTED GREEN CHILLI INTO THE PAN,AND ONION PASTE. FRY ONION PASTE FOR 2 MIN ON MEDIUM FLAME.

6.NOW ADD GINGER GARLIC PASTEE, AND DRY NUTS PASTE(KAJU,KISMIS,ALMONDS) AND FRY ON MEDIUM FLAME.

7. NOW ADD TURMERIC POWDER AND RED CHILLI POWDER. ADD TOMATO PASTE .MIX EVERYTHING AND LET THEM COOK ON LOW FLAME COVERING THE PAN. COOK TILL BUTTER STARTS SEPARATING FROM MASALA AND THE RAW SMELL OF THE MASALA GOES OFF...

8. AFTER MASALA IS READY ADD PUNEER PIECES INTO IN. ADD SALT AS PER TASTE. ADD KASURI METHI AND GARAM MASALA POWDER,AND MIX EVERTYTHING PROPERLY ON HIGH FLAME FOR 1 MIN.

9. NOW LOWER DOWN THE FLAME AND ADD SOME WATER(IF U WANT GRAVY). THIS IS TOTALLY OPTIONAL. AND LET IT COOK ON LOW FLAME.
