CARAMELIZED BREAD PUDDING

WELCOME ONCE AGAIN...

THIS MONTH IS GOING TO BE SWEET DISH MONTH... ALL YOU WILL GET TO KNOW IS ABOUT SOME DIFFERENT TYPES OF SWEET DISHES...

TODAYS RECIPE IS CARAMELIZED BREAD PUDDING...

INGRIDIENTS:

1. BREAD- 7 PIECES

2. EGG- 2

3. VANILLA ESSENCE-

4. SUGAR- 8 TBSP(BOTH FOR PUDDING AND CARAMEL MAKING)

5.BAKING POWDER-

6. MILK- 1 CUP

METHOD:

1. TAKE BREAD PIECES BREAK IT INTO SMALL PIECES AND GRIND IT IN A GRINDER AND IT WILL LOOK SOMEWHAT SHOWN IN THE PICTURE BELOW AND KEEP IT ASIDE.

2. NOW TAKE MILK IN A PAN ADD 5TBSP OF SUGAR INTO IT AND LET IT BOIL ON LOW FLAME TILL IT BECOME HALF OF THE TAKEN QUANTITY. THEN KEEP IT ASIDE FOR COOLING DOWN.

3. NOW TAKE ANOTHER CLEAN PAN IN WHICH YOU WILL MAKE PUDDING. ADD 2 TBSP OF SUGAR AND 3 TO 4TBSP OF WATER AND BOIL IT AND KEEP ON BOILING TILL IT GETS CARAMELIZED AND LOOKS LIKE IN THE PICTURE SHOWN BELOW.

4. KEEP THAT ALSO ASIDE FOR COOLING. IT WILL GET SOLIDIFIED.

5. NOW TAKE 2 EGGS BREAK THEM AND WHIP THEM PROPERLY.

6. NOW TAKE A BOWL AND ADD ALL THE INGRIDIENTS ONE BY ONE. BREAD CRUMBS, BEATEN EGG, SUGAR, BAKING POWDER, MILK AND MAKE A SMOOTH BATTER. BATTER SHOULD NOT BECOME TOO MUCH THIN NOR TOO THICK. IT SHOULD BE SOMEWHERE IN MIDDLE AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURE BELOW.

7. NOW TAKE A KADHAI FILL IT WITH WATER AND PLACE A STAND IN IT. DONOT FILL TOO MUCH WATER OR ELSE IT WILL SPILL INTO THE PUDDING.

Ì8 NOW TAKE THE PAN IN WHICH WE HAVE MADE THE CARAMEL. IT MUST HAVE BECOME HARD BY NOW. ADD THE PUDDING MIXTURE INTO IT SLOWLY. AND SPREAD EVENLY WITH A SPOON.

9. NOW PLACE THIS CONTAINER ON THE THE STAND WHICH WE HAVE PLACED IN TO KADHAI. IT WILL LOKK LIKE IN THE PICTURE SHOWN BELOW.

10. NOW SWITCH ON THE GAS STOVE AND KEEP IT ON LOW MEDIUM FLAME. AND THEN COVER IT WITH A BIG THALI SO THAT THE STEAM DOESNOT COME OUT BECAUSE PUDDING WILL GET PREPARED IN THAT STEAM ONLY.

11. LEAVE IT LIKE THAT FOR ABOUT 20-25MIN AND THEN POKE A TOOTH PICK R KNIFE IN THE MIDDLE IF IT COMES OUT CLEAN IT MEANS PUDDING IS READY.

12. LET IT COOL DOWN FOR SOMETIME AND THEN TAKE IT OUT AND KEEP IT UPSIDE DOWN SO THAT THE CARAMELIZED SIDE COMES UP LIKE IN THE PICTURE BELOW.

13. KEEP IT IN FREEZE FOR ABOUT 30MIN TO BECOME LITTLE BIT CHILLED AND THEN CUT IT INTO PIECES AND SERVE.
