LAUKI KA KHEER

WE HAVE MANY FRIEND AND SOMETIMES WE OURSELVES DO NOT LIKE TO HAVE LAUKI KA SABJI AND ALL BUT HOW ABOUT KHEER THAT IS OUR ALL TIME FAVORITE MADE OUT OF LAUKI....!!!!!!!!

LETS START...!!!!!!!!

INGRIDIENTS:

1. LAUKI GRATED- 1 CUP

2. AMUL POWDER- 1/4TH CUP

3. SUGAR- 1/2 CUP

4. MILK(FAT)- 1 PACKET (500ML) THATIS 1/2 LITRE

5. GHEE- 1 TBSP

6. ELAICHI POWDER/CRUUSHED- 1 TBSP

7. DRY FRUITS- AS PER REQUIREMENT.

METHOD:

1. GRATE LAUKI AND TAKE I CUP OF IT AND KEEP IT ASIDE.

2. CRUSH OR POWDER ELAICHI AND KEEP THAT ASIDE TOO.

3. TAKE A PAN AND BOIL MILK TILL IT THICKEN ITSELF A BIT ON MEDIUM FLAME.

4.WHILE BOILING THE MILK, ADD AMUL POWDER, SUGAR AND AGAIN LET IT BOIL.

5.SWITCH OF THE GAS AND KEEP THE MILK ASIDE.

6. NOW TAKE ANOTHER PAN, HEAT IT UP AND ADD GHEE AND MELT IT. WHEN GHEE MELTS ADD GRATED LAUKI TO IT AND FRY IT FOR GOOD 5MIN TO 7MIN ON MEDIUM FLAME.

7. AFTER 5MIN TO 7MIN, ADD ALREADY PREAPARED MILK SLOWLY AND THEN MIX IT PROPERLY. THEN ADD CRUSHED ELAICHI POWDER.

8. SIMMER GAS FLAME TO LOW AND LET IT COOK ON ITS OWN. DONOT COVER WITH LID OR ELSE WATER WILL GET ACCUMULATED. KEEP ON STEERING IT IN MIDDLE AFTER CERTAIN INTERVALS. ADD DRY FRUITS AND LET IT COOK.

9. WHEN YOUR DESIRED CONSISTENCY IS REACHED SWITCH OFF THE GAS FLAME AND LET IT COOL DOWN FOR SOMETIME AND THEN GARNISH IT WITH ALMONDS.
