MASALA PUNEER

HOW ABOUT A SIMPLE DISH OF PUNEER THAT YOU CAN MAKE WITH EASY INGRIDIENTS AND WHICH CAN GO WITH PARATHA OR PUNEER VERY WELL. LETS LHAVE A LOOK AT THE RECIPE...!!!!!

INGRIDIENTS:

1.PUNEER CUBES- 250gm

2. TOMATO PUREE- 1 CUP

3.ONION PASTE- 1/2 CUP

4.CHOPPED GARLIC- 1 TBSP

5.JEERA- 1TBSP

6 CUMIN POWDER-1 TBSP

7. CORIANDER POWDER-1 TBSP

8. RED CHILLI POWDER- 1 TSP

9. HING- A PINCH

10.GREEN CHILLIES- 2 TO 3 

11.COOKING OIL- AS PER REQUIRMENT

12. SALT- AS PER TASTE

13.TOMATO SAUCE- 1/4TH CUP

14. TURMERIC POWDER- AS PER REQUIREMENT

15.GARAM MASALA POWDER- 1/2 TSP

METHOD:

1. AT FIRST TAKE PUNEER PIECES SOAK THEM IN LUKEWARM WATER ADDING LITTLE AMOUNT OF SALT IN IT. AFTER 10 MIN TAKE IT OUT AND CUT INTO DESIRED PIECES.

2. NOW FRY PUNEER PIECES IN OIL TILL THEY BECOME GOLDEN BROWN. BUT HERE I HAVE FRIED THEM LITTLE MORE.

3. TAKE OUT PUNEER PIECES AND THEN IN THE SAME PAN ADD SOME MORE OIL AND ADD JEERA AND FRY FOR 30SEC, THEN ADD CHOPPED GARLIC AND HING ND SAUTE THEM FOR MORE 30SEC.

4.NOW ADD CORIANDER POWDER, CUMIN POWDER, TURMERIC POWDER, AND FRY FOR 2 3 MIN BY ADDING LITTLE WATER AT REGULAR INTERVALS.

5. THE ADD ONION PASTE AND FRY IT ON MEDIUM FLAME AND THEN ADD TOMATO PASTE AND TOMATO SAUCE AND FRY THIS MASALA TILL OIL LEAVES FROM SIDE OF THE PAN.

6. WHEN THE MASALA IS READY ADD ALREADY FRIED PUNEER CUBES AND COOKON MEDIUM FLAME FOR 2TO 3 MIN AND ADD DESIRED QUANTITY OF WATER. AND LET IT BOIL TILL IT REACHES YOUR DESIRED THICKNESS...SWITCH OF THE FLAME AFTER IT IS READY....
