INGRIDIENTS:
1. RAW SABUDANA- 1 CUP
2. CHOPPED GREEN CHILLI- 2TO 3
3. GINGER PASTE- 1 TBSP
4. AMCHUR POWDER(DRY MANGO POWDER)- 1 TSPN
5. LEMON JUICE- HALF LEMON
6. BOILED POTATO- 3 IN NOS
7. ROSTED MUNGFALI- 50GM
8. SUGAR- 1/2 TSPN
9. JEERA- 1 TSPN
10. GARAM MASALA POWDER- 1 TSPN
11. ROCK SALT(SENDHA NAMAK)-AS PER TASTE ( AS I DIDNT HAVE ROCK SALT SO I HAVE USED PLAIN SALT BUT FOR FASTING ONE SHOULD USE SENDHA NAMAK OR CAN MAKE WITHOUT SALT ALSO)
METHOD:
1. TAKE SABUDANA AND SOAK IT IN WATER FOR 4HRS TO 5HRS. THEN TAKE IT OUT FROM WATER AND LET IT GET DRY FOR 1HOUR TO 1 AND HALF HOUR.
2. BOIL 3 POTATOES AND THEN SMASH IT. GRIND ROASTED MUNGWALI IN GRIND. IT SHOULD NOT BECOME FINE POWDER. IT SHOULD BE HALF CRUSHED.
3. NOW TAKE A MIXING BOWL AND PUT SABUDANA IN IT, THEN ONE BY ONE ADD GINGER PASTE, ROASTED CRUSHED MUNGFALI, ROCK SALT(SENDHA NAMAK), SUGAR, JEERA, CHOPPED GREEN CHILLI, BOILED POTATO AND THEN MIX IT WITH LIGHT HANDX SO THAT IT HAS THICKNESS OF MAKING SMALL BALLS.
4. NOW TAKE A PAN AND AND ADD VEGETABLE OIL IN IT. LET IT GET HEATED PROPERLY. TO CHECK WHETHER THE OIL IS HEATED PROPERLY OR NOT ADD SMALL AMOUNT OF THAT MIXTURE IN IT. IF IT FLOATS UP QUICKLY THEN THE OIL IS HEATED PROPERLY..
5. MAKE PROPER BALLS FROM THAT MIXTURE AND KEEP THEM ASIDE.
7. NOE WHEN THE OIL IS HEATED PROPERLY LOWER DOWN THE FLAME AND PLACE BALLS ONE BY ONE
